More than a summer camp — a life-changing cultural experience.
Join us in the Dominican Republic for an unforgettable worldschool adventure where children learn Spanish through culture, community and connection.
Our immersive summer camps are designed for curious kids and families who want more than tourism — they want belonging, learning, and real-life experiences rooted in culture and community.

An explorador/a is an "explorer". In this camp campers will explore:
-Language through lived experience
-Culture with curiosity and respect
-Their bodies through movement and baseball
-Their inner world through mindfulness and emotional awareness
One immersive experience. Many ways to grow.
Campers participate in a holistic summer experience that blends:
- Spanish through hands-on cultural immersion
- Daily movement opportunities from nature walks, swimming to playing baseball with local Dominicans
- Mindfulness, self-awareness, and emotional growth practices
- Exploration, creativity, movement, and community connection

- Worldschooling & homeschooling families
- Traditional school families looking for a worldschool experience
- Baseball families seeking language and cultural depth
- Families raising bilingual or bicultural kids
- Parents who value experiential learning
- Kids who learn best by doing, not sitting

These camps are designed for children who are curious, adaptable, and excited to learn through real-life experiences. We welcome worldschooling, homeschooling, and globally minded families who value culture, connection, and experiential learning.
Age ranges may vary slightly by session, but camps are generally designed for elementary and middle school–aged children. Specific age guidelines will be listed with each camp offering.
No Spanish is required. Children are exposed to Spanish naturally through daily interactions, play, and activities. Beginners are absolutely welcome. There will be optional language immersion activities for those that want to focus more on language learning.
This is a co-op-style program, meaning families are present and involved in the overall experience. It is optional how involved you choose to be, this will be discussed with in the intro meeting and finalized as the camp gets closer.
This camp is hosted on the north coast of the Dominican Republic in Cabrera. Cabrera is an adorable, small beach town with an eclectic mix of expats and locals. Your family will feel safe and after a few days, you'll feel like locals yourselves! We will be using The Human Hive, a beautiful space with a colorful building, a variety of classrooms, a full kitchen, an outdoor play area, a garden, a swimming pool. It is right next door to an equine therapy center with trails perfect for nature walks leading to a hidden river!
Respect, curiosity, cultural humility, community connection, and joy. We emphasize learning with people, not just about places.
Spots are intentionally limited to maintain quality, connection, and safety. We’re aiming for 10-20 kids.
Click the button below, fill out the interest form to tell us a little about yourself and your family. Once you complete the form, you will be prompted to schedule a one-on-one Zoom call with our program Director, Kristina so you can get to know each other, ask questions, and discuss if this camp is a good fit for your family and discuss next steps and important details!

Tres Fuentes Collective was founded by Kristina Fuentes, an educator, world traveler, and homeschool parent committed to learning through culture and lived experience.
Kristina spent her early adult years living, traveling, and teaching abroad — experiences that shaped her belief in education beyond the classroom. She is a certified teacher in Arizona and has homeschooled her children for the past three years, weaving together language, culture, and experiential learning.
Her work is deeply informed by her family and community. Her husband, Huascar Fuentes, is originally from the Dominican Republic and signed professionally with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2014, playing professionally for four years before transitioning into a youth coach. He now runs his own youth baseball club in Arizona, coaching players from 10U–14U.
Together, they are raising three children — Eliana (11), Damian (5), and Lukas (2) — with a strong connection to culture, education, and community. Tres Fuentes Collective reflects the lived experiences, values, and global perspective of the family behind it.
